About the role
We are currently seeking a talented individual to join our team Operations Team as an Operations Analyst.
Purpose of the role
Ensure all Client Payments, Client Deposits and Client Funding is processed efficiently within deadlines.
Ensure all Foreign Exchange transactions are processed efficiently and within deadlines.
Ensure relevant Bank Accounts are funded according to company and regulatory guidelines.
Ensure all reconciliation items are identified and resolved within deadlines.
Role Responsibilities
Process all Broking client payments through internal systems and Banking portals.
Review and resolve system ledger reconciling items.
Process all transfers between Broking and Custody bank accounts.
Identify and request Company funding where required, and liaise with internal Operations teams and Finance department.
Manage JBWere Cash Trust deposits and withdrawals
Process banking items.
Process FX instructions and settlements.
Process Intermediary rebates.
Proactively suggest process improvements to streamline internal practices.
Cross training in other functions performed within Operations.
Know and comply with the Firm’s health and safety procedures and directions to ensure duty of care is exercised both in relation to one’s own health and safety and that of colleagues.

What you will bring to the role
Knowledge
Understanding of global financial markets and products / services used by the firm.
Understanding of Investments and Private Wealth Management.
Understanding of general ledger processing.
Understanding of Term Deposits and related payments generated.
Qualifications & Experience
Degree level qualification in Finance, Business or Accounting essential, or qualified by experience in the finance industry.
Minimum of 1 year experience within in professional services or highly knowledge based environment essential.
Experience in Banking, Financial Operations or Client Services preferred.
Previous broking/banking experience preferred.
Administration experience essential.
Highly numerically proficient with high attention to detail.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to deal with demanding time pressured situations and competing priorities
Ability to establish effective working relationships through an open and approachable manner
Service and goal orientated.
A high level of drive & enthusiasm.
A pro-active and self-managing approach
Ability and willingness to learn new systems.
