About the opportunity | Mo te whai waahi

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of two concurrent initiatives across the organisation. This role suits someone with strong delivery discipline, confidence in regulated environments, and the ability to manage complexity across both digital and regulatory domains. This 6 months Fixed Term opportunity has full responsibility for integrated planning, milestone management, risk and dependency management, and clear reporting to sponsors and governance forums. 

Key Responsibilities | Ngā Kawenga Mahi

  • End‑to‑end delivery of both projects from planning through to implementation 

  • Development and maintenance of integrated schedules, budgets, and risk registers 

  • Management of internal and external stakeholders, including vendors and advisors 

  • Coordination of regulatory and compliance dependencies, approvals, and sequencing 

  • Clear and concise reporting to project sponsors and governance groups 

  • Active management of delivery risk, issues, and change impacts 

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Proven experience delivering digital projects in complex environments 

  • Experience with licensing, regulatory, or compliance‑driven initiatives 

  • Strong planning, governance, and stakeholder management capabilities 

  • Comfortable managing multiple workstreams with competing priorities 

  • Pragmatic, outcomes‑focused delivery approach 

  • Experience in financial services, wealth management, or professional services is highly regarded
