As a Business Analyst within FirstCape’s Transformation Office, you’ll play a pivotal role in supporting change initiatives and continuous improvement across the organisation. Working closely with project leaders and stakeholders, you’ll translate business needs into practical, risk-aware solutions that enhance efficiency and performance. Key Responsibilities | Ngā Kawenga Mahi
Partner with stakeholders to gather, interpret and document business requirements into clear, actionable outputs
Analyse existing processes to identify improvement opportunities, efficiencies, and risk reduction strategies
Support end-to-end delivery of transformation initiatives, including planning, tracking and reporting on project progress
Develop clear documentation, reporting, and visual insights to support decision-making and business understanding
Facilitate stakeholder engagement across the business to ensure smooth implementation of change initiatives
Coordinate testing activities, including test planning, user acceptance testing, and issue tracking
Support the transition of solutions into business operations, including training and handover materials
Provide ongoing support to business users, helping to solve complex operational and financial challenges

We require that you have:
Proven experience as a Business Analyst within a professional services or financial services environment
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a high level of attention to detail
Ability to communicate complex information clearly and influence stakeholders at all levels
Experience working across project lifecycles and change management frameworks (Agile, Waterfall, etc.)
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and deliver outcomes
Advanced Microsoft Office capability (including data analysis and visualisation tools such as Visio)
A proactive, self-driven approach with a focus on continuous improvement
Relevant business, project, or technology qualifications (desirable), with exposure to SQL or data systems a bonus
