Job Description
About the role
The primary purpose of this role is to provide outstanding service and support to clients and prospective clients. These range from large institutional investors through to individuals who may be investing to grow their wealth or provide an income in retirement. An interest and some experience in investment markets is preferred.
To fulfil Harbour’s objectives, the Client Relations Associate will play a significant part in achieving Harbour’s vision by exceeding the expectations of our current clients and creating a great first impression for prospective clients.
Supporting new clients with their investment journey, including the account-opening process, making it as easy as possible for them and supplying them appropriate documentation depending on client type.
Collating monthly, quarterly and annual reporting for clients
Updating and maintaining the client relationship management system (CRM)
Responding to client requests for information, including gathering information from other Harbour team members
Ensuring that client transaction requests are within their authority and actioned efficiently
Answering our incoming 0800 number and responding to email enquiries and then following up accordingly in a timely manner.
Greeting and assisting clients or potential client “drop-ins” with the information they need, without providing any personalised advice or recommendations
Collation of high-quality, client-facing material such as due diligence questionnaires, audit requests and performance reporting as required, ensuring Harbour templates and brand guidelines are used consistently
Understanding the importance of knowing your client to ensure all AML & other regulatory requirements are met, from on boarding & during the clients life cycle with Harbour.
Involved in process improvement projects, testing, system enhancements that impact the clients experience with Harbour and also improves our client record keeping.
Initiative to identify & investigate differences and to question the status quo.
Pitching in with the wider team on ad hoc projects
