About the Role

We have a 6 month fixed term contract available in our team for a Wealth Support Associate. This role contributes to a key part of our Wealth Management team providing essential support to the Associates who support the Advisers, ensuring they run an efficient and client focused operation. The Wealth Support Associate’s role is to assist with providing full support on non-advisory matters as well as maintaining all compliance records to the highest standards to ensure we keep the Firm and clients safe.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assisting Associates with new client onboarding to ensure a smooth and efficient process meeting all compliance requirements including AML processes and accurate maintenance of records to FMA regulations.
  • Supporting the Associate team in preparation of client portfolio reporting on a monthly and quarterly basis ensuring a high standard.
  • Ensuring all requested trades and settlements are well managed through close ties with relevant internal departments – including placing the firm’s Intermediary and client orders directly into trading systems.
  • Supporting the Associate team in ensuring that Wealth Advisers can focus solely on managing their portfolios and bringing in new business. including general admin duties as required.
  • New processes or procedures with a focus on continuous improvement are devised and executed where appropriate.
  • A willingness to learn and develop new skills is shown as required to meet wider business demands.

Technical 

  • A working knowledge of financial services market terminology is helpful, but not essential, as training will be provided
  • Attention to detail and accuracy are essential due to the nature of the role
  • A proficient working knowledge of the full Microsoft Office suite of programmes is essential

Previous experience 

  • Strong administrative background managing a large and varied portfolio of tasks
