Join the team as a the Client Relations Associate to play a significant part in achieving Harbour’s vision by exceeding the expectations of our current clients and creating a great first impression for prospective clients.
 

Key Responsibilities | Ngā Kawenga Mahi

  • Supporting new clients with their investment journey, including the account-opening process, making it as easy as possible for them and supplying them appropriate documentation depending on client type.
  • Collating monthly, quarterly and annual reporting for clients.
  • Updating and maintaining the client relationship management system (CRM).
  • Responding to client requests for information, including gathering information from other Harbour team members.
  • Ensuring that client transaction requests are within their authority and actioned efficiently.
  • Answering our incoming 0800 number and responding to email enquiries and then following up accordingly in a timely manner.
  • Greeting and assisting clients or potential client “drop-ins” with the information they need, without providing any personalised advice or recommendations.
  • Collation of high-quality, client-facing material such as due diligence questionnaires, audit requests and performance reporting as required, ensuring Harbour templates and brand guidelines are used consistently.
  • Understanding the importance of knowing your client to ensure all AML & other regulatory requirements are met, from on boarding & during the clients life cycle with Harbour.
  • Involved in process improvement projects, testing, system enhancements that impact the clients experience with Harbour and also improves our client record keeping.
  • Initiative to identify & investigate differences and to question the status quo.
  • Pitching in with the wider team on ad hoc projects.

  • Exceptional client first service ethic and communication style.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to meet deadlines, juggle multiple projects at once and remain calm under pressure.
  • High energy, initiative and self-motivation.
  • Interested in investments, financial services or economics.

Knowledge and Experience:

  • Microsoft suite experience, especially Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Background in Investment or financial services client service and/or business development support role.
  • Experience in CRM e.g. Dynamics 365 is preferred.
